The space


Enjoy the serenity of the outdoors in this beautifully upgraded Vail home high up on the ridge overlooking the Vail Valley. Perfect for travelers interested in a little peace and quiet while still being just a few minutes away from everything Vail has to offer. Enjoy endless outdoor recreation opportunities using our home as your mountain base of activities. Local wildlife is abundant so make sure you bring a camera. We are outdoor enthusiasts friendly. We have traveled all over the world, mainly to areas with spectacular natural environments and have received great hospitality. We hope to provide travelers and vacationers with all of the things we value most in our accommodations when we travel.

We have furnished the condo with all the items we use on a regular basis to support outdoor adventuring and great home cooking in order to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Feel free to ask us anytime about local activities which include downhill skiing, cross country skiing, skinning, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, climbing, hiking, golf, fishing, rafting, kayaking, dog sledding, horse riding, jeeping, workout facilities, churches, etc. We would be happy to help you plan your next adventure. To help after your day in the mountains, we have a washer & dryer and lots of hangers to organize or dry out all of your gear.

After your day exploring everything the Vail Valley has to offer, enjoy our home’s open living space which invites togetherness and easy conversation. Everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible is provided, and two supermarkets are very close by for provisioning.

Please note:
This unit is an up/down duplex, and year-round owners occupy the unit upstairs with a friendly adult dog (chocolate lab). The lower duplex unit has two private entrances; both being down a flight of outdoor stairs, with the main entrance off a pleasant covered patio space. The bright lower unit also features a nice shared yard and views of mountain ridges of the valley. The property is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood with other year-round single family homes and duplexes (no multi-unit condos or townhomes nearby). During the snowy and winter months here in the Colorado High Country, your vehicle will need AWD/4WD/Snow tires to navigate the highways, local roads and driveway.

Please enjoy the space while following a few rules:

  • Only 2 cars are allowed on site.
  • Due to COVID occupancy restrictions, we are allowed only 4 guests to occupy the residence at any one time.
  • No children under 12 allowed.
  • No smoking.
  • No pets allowed.
  • No parties.
  • Observe normal quiet hours, while being respectful of the neighborhood.
